Where has TIR been successful?

TIR been successful for:

  • Combat
  • Personal Injury
  • Rape
  • Crime
  • Car Crash
  • Bullying
  • Domestic Violence
  • Bereavement
  • PTSD
  • OCD
  • Mood Disorders
  • Depressive Disorders
  • Grief
  • Phobias

TIR should not be carried out with:

  • Current users of street drugs or alcohol. Such people will need to be stably off such substances.
  • Users of or those addicted to medications such as sedatives, strong painkillers, and major and minor tranquilizers. (However, lithium and serotonin reuptake inhibitors, such as Prozac have been found not to interfere with TIR since they do not normally reduce awareness.)
  • In these cases the person should commit to stop taking the drug and allow for a drying out period before starting sessions.
